Motorbike Dairies

Finally got my motorbike, these few days have been so happening.

20th Jan i pass my 2B, straight away go Jurong East buy insurance for $862! Very expensive but no choice cause my age and experience are all above $800 depending on bike. A Kawasaki KR would have been almost $1.2k! After that went to Bishan Sin Ming road to meet up with my RXK seller to transfer the ownership to me.

21st Jan. Went to meet seller at his place to get the bike. Immediately i found the bike to have major problem starting. Nevermind just use first, rode to work! After work i couldnt start the bike no matter how i tried! I knew push starting would work but i dont know and school never teach how to do it!

Feeling dam helpless and quite frustrated but no choice have to keep calm. So no choice 1st day of getting bike have to call tow truck to tow it back to jurong. Tow it back cost $35 bux, i am quite surprised its not really expensive cause it was already 12.30am.

Reached jurong met up with david, berney, ivan, jon, yong all. We all experiment push start. Manage to start but i fell down together with the bike. Minor scrathes on my left arm and leg. Lucky i wearing jeans if not my leg would have been worse.

Broke the bike's signal lights and headlight, bent the footrest and left controls the clamp. Rear light cracked and number plate abit bent. Heartache!

Tahan the pain and ride to Jalan Tukang motoshop and left it there overnight. Went home to wash up and sleep..about 4am. Woke up at 8am and went to polyclinic to take MC for my abrasions. Got 2 days off! 8am go polyclinic actually not much people, quite fast to my turn.

Went bikeshop to fix the cosmetic damages but still starter problem cannot fix. I shall shorten my post because it is a long frustrating saga.

Cannot take it just took friend's advice to go HKL racing a motorshop at Queensway. On the way to queensway i stalled halfway at the traffic light. Lol. Dam embrassing causing a mini 30sec jam because i couldnt restart the bike immediately due to starter problem.

Reached HKL and they immediately identified some electronic problem, had to order the component from Yamaha and wait till Monday (i am blogging this on Sat)as HKL is closed on Sunday. Hopefully on Monday it will be problem free!

I think i learned too much for a motorbike owner of 3 days. lol
